Tv9 Gujarat – Holiday of Sunday in between Strike by Medical Professors, Ahmedabad
The Medical Professors on Sunday took rest from their strike as none on them were seen protesting or demanding on Sunday. But the problems of patients were the same and are worsening with each passing day. Now the helpless patients are demanding that Government should have such rules and regulations that no doctor can go on strike like this. As of now authorities of Civil Hospital has assigned duties to junior doctors but they cannot cater major operations and surgeries hence the patients are suffering because of this.
Tv9 Gujarat – Girl beaten up brutally by aunt, Rescued by Neighbors, Ahmedabad
22 year old, Neeta used to live with her paternal aunt since last one year as her mother is dead and from 6 months her aunt used to beat her brutally. Her father is working in police department of Harij. Her aunt used to beat her every day and night with pincers and whichever tool that comes in her hand. She used to beat her up by blaming that Neeta does not know household chores. Neighbors heard Neeta’s cry and when they asked her aunt not to beat the girl so brutally, she abused and fought with them instead and asked them to keep her with them if they feel so much for her. But on Sunday she crossed the limits and thrashed Neeta brutally in the morning and locked her up in the house after which she left. Neeta cried for neighbor’s help and they with great efforts rescued her through a window and took her to hospital. Police has lodged a complain against her aunt and has arrested her. Hearing about the incidents her other aunt arrived at the hospital and she too did not had any regret on her face rather was angry on the neighbors. Neeta is undergoing treatment in hospital right now but is still under shock. Questions also arises as to how can he not know about such torment to his daughter. However, police is investigating further in the case and is interrogating her father.

A man, Bipin, died because of continuous coughing which was caused due to the droppings and feathers of pigeons. Another woman also suffered the same problem which is the result of a nearby dovecote. Experts says that people should be very careful by this as this disease is not detected in the initial stage. This dry coughing can be caused by the birds around us with their droppings and feathers.

9 members of a family attempted suicide by consuming poisonous medicine. But before the poison could spread all over the body they were taken to hospital and all were saved. The reason behind this step was defamation. Before sometime a man in their village died mysteriously for which everyone blamed this family. Hence, not able to take insult they attempted suicide. Police is investigating further in the case.

A farmer while watering his farm was attacked by a lioness and lion. It was a close call for the farmer who was dragged by the lioness. But fortunately he was saved as he gave a good fight to the lioness. This was the second attack by lioness in 48 hours. Before this the lioness attacked two goats and a cow and now following this attack on farmer the villagers have appealed to forest department for quick action.
Tv9 Gujarat – Student beaten brutally by teacher for minor reason, Ahmedabad
Vishal, a school student of NK Ashram Shala was beaten up brutally by school teacher. The incident came into light when school teacher called his parents and asked to take him home because of ill health. When parents saw bruises on his body, they filed a police complain against the school officials. Allegedly school teacher bashed the 5 year old for wetting his bed during sleep. On the other hand school managing trustee, Pasiben Parmar, rejected the allegations by saying that the parents wants to take money from them that is the reason behind this. Also she further said that she received an anonymous call demanding 10000 rupees to avoid complain. The trustee said that the kid’s father used to come home drunk and his mother took the kid by herself. Police is investigating in the case which will disclose the actual reason behind such condition of innocent child.

A woman was brutally beaten by her husband and in-laws so much that she was admitted in hospital. The woman was beaten by an aluminum rod. Since 16 years she has been tortured for dowry, accused by the victim and her mother.
