Narendra Modi’s speech at Sadbhavna Mission in Jetpur
Chief Minister Narendra Modi today cautioned the Centre against raining a rein of lies and atrocity on Gujarat, stooping to the extent of hurling abuses even at bureaucrats from the state. Rounding up his day-long Sadbhavna fast at Jetpur as part of his district-wise mission to hold such fasts at 33 places, he said the people of Gujarat would not tolerate the vote bank politics of divide and rule and other means to disturb the democratically elected popular government in the state. They would not tolerate Delhi repeat its loot of the nation in Gujarat. Modi announced on the occasion new development works worth Rs.2250-crore for the entire Rajkot district. Earlier, during the Sadbhavna fast at Rajkot, he had announced development works worth Rs.1100-crore for Rajkot city.

Indefinite Strike has started by Gujarat Fair Price Shops License Holder Association (GFPSLHA), headed by chief minister’s brother Prahlad Modi. Shops in cities like Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Vadodara and Patan were closed. More than 17 thousands fair price shops were closed down from first february. Ration owners wants manual purchase permit system where as Government has implied online purchase permit. Hence fair price shop owners has started ‘No Purchase Agitation’. On the other hand Government is unmovable on its decision and threatens to take legal action, The government also stated that it will not wast commodities that belong to poor people.
